875 People Vaccinated at Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal

Hopefully all people who are active in this terminal will participate in this free vaccination service

The Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal, Ciracas, East Jakarta has noted that as many as 875 people have undergone the Covid-19 vaccination that will take place for ten days with a target of 5,000 people.

It was officially opened by President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo and was attended by Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan; Transportation Minister, Budi Karya Sumadi; Health Minister, Budi Gunadi Sadikin; Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Head, Syafrin Liputo and other officials.

Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal Head, Made Jhoni said, on the first day, there were around 950 participants and only 875 managed to pass the vaccination. 75 were failed due to health factors.

He explained that those participants were consisting of PO Bus caretakers, drivers and conductors, hawkers, kiosk traders and cleaners at the terminal. They were very enthusiastic, moreover they also received food packages from the President.

"Hopefully all people who are active in this terminal will participate in this free vaccination service," he hoped.

Ciracas Puskesmas' Community Health Implementation Unit Head, Yuni Astuti uttered as many as 40 health workers had been alerted to smoothen the vaccination.

"This aims to prevent the spread of Covid, as they are active every day and deal with crowds," she concluded.
